The Scottish Government has published the Covid-19 regulations. These can be viewed here.

Please take time to familiarise yourself with the current restrictions relating to your own council area.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS?

Massage Therapy at whatever level – Advanced, Remedial, Sports, is categorised under Complementary and Alternative Medicine. The CAM industry is classed by the government as ‘non-essential’ close contact retail services’.

The Scottish Government has announced that as of 26th April 2021, close contact retail services can resume therefore my business will be open as of that date and according to required safety restrictions. Appointments can be booked through the booking system

The Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation has provided helpful guidance to its members.

INVESTMENT IN CLINIC SPACE

Protecting OUR safety is of utmost importance. I have made a significant investment in my clinic space. A hot handwashing sink is now installed in the clinic and new contract flooring has been laid, replacing the carpet to allowing enhanced hygiene.  A new on-line booking system has been implemented with an on-line payment facility removing the need for cash. Additional PPE and equipment investment has been made in the form of disposable towels, gloves, masks, visors and essential cleaning materials, bins, clothing and personal effects boxes.
